This document sets out the conditions under which you may use the website, the virtual assistant, the information forum and the forms made available.

The medical services presented on this website are provided at the premises of DentaField Clinic, which has the status of healthcare provider. No services are sold and no treatment contracts are concluded through this website: the relationship between the patient and the provider is established at the clinic, in accordance with the law.

By accessing and using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with any of these provisions, please do not use the website.

I reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, as well as the content, structure and functionalities of the website, at any time, without prior individual notice. The applicable version is the one published on the website at the time of access. Continued use of the website after the publication of the amendments constitutes acceptance of them.

You undertake to use the website only for lawful purposes, in accordance with these Terms, good morals and the applicable legislation, without prejudice to the rights of Dr. Ana-Maria Spiridon or of third parties.

Materials belonging to third parties are used on the basis of the rights granted by their holders, and the name and insignia of DentaField Clinic belong to the clinic. It does NOT constitute and does NOT replace a dental consultation, a diagnosis, a medical opinion or a dental treatment plan, and must not be interpreted as an individualised medical recommendation.

A dental diagnosis and treatment plan can be established only by a dentist, during a consultation carried out at the clinic, after direct examination of the patient and, where applicable, after further investigations (X-rays, impressions or digital scans). Do not delay and do not forgo seeking the opinion of a dentist on the basis of information read on the website or in the forum. No doctor–patient relationship arises through this website.

The website provides an information forum with educational dental content in the field of dentistry (prosthetics and aesthetics). The answers published on the forum are drafted by Dr. Ana-Maria Spiridon for general informational purposes and do not constitute an individualised medical consultation, a diagnosis or a treatment plan. The forum does not replace a dental consultation.

The content of the forum is of a general nature, based on established medical information, and is not automatically applicable to the individual situation of each user. No doctor–patient relationship arises through interaction with the forum. Please do not include identifiable personal health data in the messages posted on the forum.

Dr. Ana-Maria Spiridon reserves the right to moderate, amend or remove any content published on the forum that does not comply with these conditions or that is contrary to good morals or the applicable legislation.

The appointment form, e-mail and the messaging channels (Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct) are the means through which you can send a request for an appointment for a dental consultation. Sending a request is NOT equivalent to a confirmed appointment and does not, in itself, create an obligation to provide the service on a particular date or at a particular time. An appointment becomes valid only after express confirmation, communicated by Dr. Ana-Maria Spiridon or by DentaField Clinic.

No distance contract for the provision of the medical procedure is concluded through the website and no online payment is made. The contractual relationship concerning the dental services is established at DentaField Clinic, after the consultation, and payment is made at the clinic. Healthcare services provided by medical staff for the assessment, maintenance or restoration of health are excluded from the scope of the regulations on distance contracts, pursuant to Art. 3(3)(b) of O.U.G. nr. 34/2014 (the Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance on consumers' rights in contracts concluded with professionals).

A confirmed appointment reserves clinical time dedicated exclusively to you. If you can no longer keep an appointment, please cancel or reschedule it at least 24 hours in advance, so that the slot can be offered to another patient.

The fees displayed on the website or communicated by the virtual assistant are strictly INDICATIVE. Pursuant to Art. 1189 of the Codul civil (the Romanian Civil Code), such a presentation addressed to the public does not constitute a firm offer to contract, but an invitation to request a personalised offer. The fees are set and invoiced by DentaField Clinic. The applicable price is exclusively the one communicated in the estimate or dental treatment plan drawn up after the consultation, depending on the specific clinical situation, the complexity and the materials used.

Payment for the services is made at DentaField Clinic, in accordance with the payment methods accepted by the clinic. For dental treatments that require laboratory orders or customised materials (for example, prosthetic work — crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures), the clinic may request an advance, set and confirmed in writing in the estimate, which is deducted from the final price.

Dental services are provided on a private basis and are paid in full by the patient. Medical care services provided for a therapeutic purpose are exempt from value added tax, without the right of deduction, under Art. 292 of Legea nr. 227/2015 (the Romanian Tax Code).

A dental medical procedure constitutes an obligation of means (of diligence), not an obligation of result. Dr. Ana-Maria Spiridon undertakes to act with professionalism, in accordance with medical standards and good practice; however, by the very nature of dentistry, no result can be absolutely guaranteed.

The outcome of a dental treatment depends on individual factors — the patient's co-operation, oral hygiene, individual biological particularities and compliance with the medical instructions and the check-up schedule. No text on this website, in the forum or in the virtual assistant should be interpreted as a promise or guarantee of a particular result.

The entire communication activity carried out through this website complies with the Codul deontologic al medicului stomatolog (the Code of Professional Conduct for Dentists), adopted by the Colegiul Medicilor Stomatologi din România (the Romanian College of Dentists, hereinafter "CMSR") through Decizia AGN nr. 6/1AGN/2021, in the form consolidated by Decizia nr. 1/1AGN of 21 March 2025, as well as with the CMSR regulations on the advertising of dental activities. No formulations such as "lifetime guarantee", "100% result" or "risk-free" are used, nor any other messages that could mislead as to the outcome of treatment.

Any "before/after" photographs published on the website are displayed only with the explicit, prior and written consent of the persons concerned and with respect for their anonymity. These materials are strictly educational and informational in purpose and do not guarantee that similar results will be obtained in other situations.

The reviews displayed on the website come from independent external platforms (Google) and represent the personal opinions of the persons who formulated them. No false reviews are published and existing reviews are not altered.

Dentistry, like any medical procedure, entails risks and possible complications that may arise even when the treatment is performed correctly and in accordance with professional standards. Pursuant to Legea nr. 95/2006 (the Romanian law on healthcare reform, republished), Title XVI, the following do not constitute malpractice and do not engage the liability of the provider or of the doctor: the complications and risks generally accepted for the methods of investigation and treatment; the individual biological reaction; the hidden defects of medical materials or equipment.

For the safety of the dental medical procedure, the patient is obliged to provide, before any consultation, complete and accurate information about their state of health, allergies, current medication and any other relevant aspect. The success and longevity of a dental treatment also depend significantly on compliance with the medical instructions and the periodic check-up schedule.

This website, the contact form, the forum, the messaging channels and the virtual assistant are NOT intended for medical emergency situations and are not monitored permanently. Dental medical services are provided exclusively in person, at the premises of DentaField Clinic in Romania. The provision, content and standard of the medical procedure, informed consent, professional liability and the price of the treatment performed are governed by Romanian law, regardless of the patient's country of residence, in accordance with Directive 2011/24/EU on the application of patients' rights in cross-border healthcare.

The user is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data they enter in the forms available on the website (appointment, contact), including the identification and contact data. Submitting false or erroneous data, as well as using another person's data without their consent, is prohibited.

A user who breaches these Terms or the applicable legal provisions is liable, in accordance with the law, for the real and direct damage caused by their act. This section does not in any way limit the liability of Dr. Ana-Maria Spiridon for her own act, for the bodily injury or the death of a person.

Liability for the dental medical procedure itself is governed by Legea nr. 95/2006 (the Romanian law on healthcare reform, republished), Title XVI, and lies with the healthcare provider and the treating doctor, under the conditions of the law; the treating doctor holds professional civil liability insurance for malpractice, taken out under the conditions of the law (Legea nr. 95/2006, Art. 667). No provision of these clauses limits liability in the cases where the law prohibits such a limitation.

The matter will be examined in good faith and you will receive a response within a reasonable time. The organisation and conduct of this procedure are regulated by Ordonanța Guvernului nr. 38/2015 (the Romanian ordinance on the alternative resolution of disputes between consumers and traders, which transposed Directive 2013/11/EU). Information and forms are available at www.anpc.ro and reclamatiisal.anpc.ro. This procedure is without prejudice to your right to bring the matter before the courts.

These Terms and Conditions are drafted in Romanian — the reference language. The versions in other languages (English, French, German, Spanish) are provided by way of translation; in the event of any discrepancy, the Romanian version prevails.

The fact that Dr. Ana-Maria Spiridon does not exercise or delays in exercising a right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right. If one or more of the provisions of these Terms are declared null or inapplicable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

These Terms and Conditions, as well as the use of the website, are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute shall be resolved amicably; failing a solution, jurisdiction lies with the Romanian courts determined in accordance with the rules of jurisdiction laid down by Romanian law. If you have the status of consumer, you retain the right to bring your action before the court of your domicile, as well as the possibility of resorting to the SAL procedure conducted at the level of the ANPC, and the mandatory rights recognised for the consumer by law remain unaffected.
